Best Price Scraping Services With Product Availability Data
Research-based guide · Sources checked 5 November 2026
Shortlist Bright Data or Oxylabs if the retailers you need have supported structured scrapers with a usable availability field. Compare Zyte if you want a general extraction schema and can qualify each target. Consider a maintained Apify collector when the required seller, variant or stock context needs custom parsing. Choose by the percentage of correctly matched and usable offers, not by how many requests return HTTP 200.
This guide compares documented capabilities for permitted public sources. We did not scrape retailers or measure accuracy. A stock field is a claim about a particular offer at an observation time. It does not guarantee the shopper can buy that variant at that price.
What should one observation contain?
Record a stable product ID, selected variant, seller, fulfillment mode, currency, displayed price, destination or store context, observed availability and timestamp. A result such as “in stock” without a seller or variant is ambiguous on a marketplace. For a store page, pickup stock and delivery stock may differ. Keep states for in stock, out of stock, preorder, backorder and unknown where the source can distinguish them. If the page says nothing, retain unknown.

Bright Data and Oxylabs for covered targets
Bright Data's e-commerce scraper catalog describes structured fields, including availability on named targets. Ask for a sample schema and results for each retailer. A category result may contain a different stock value from the product page. Select one offer in the listing and confirm the product-page variant, seller and stock agree at the same time and location.
Oxylabs' e-commerce offering describes supported targets and examples with availability. Its Web API guide shows extraction with a schema. Confirm whether the purchased service supplies an explicit status from a supported target or expects you to provide field logic. Use the vendor's policies and the site's approved access scope.
Zyte and custom collection for inconsistent sites
Zyte's extraction schema documents product and variant data. A missing field may reflect extraction uncertainty. Check which page or rendered state is the input and validate the selected product against that state. A retailer may leave stale structured markup on a page after its purchase control changes.
For an Apify actor or a custom workflow over ScrapingBee, ScraperAPI or Diffbot, ask for a maintained path for the exact fields you need. Some services fetch or render the page and leave parsing to you. Others return an extracted product object, but still need testing for seller, stock and variant. Quote the review and maintenance cost as well as the collection charge.
Test validity, not just coverage
- Take an authorized sample across popular and low-volume items, size or color variants, stores and sellers. Record the expected result manually within the same observation window.
- Include pages with explicit out-of-stock messages, an available item whose selected variant is out of stock, and an unknown state. Measure false in-stock results separately.
- Confirm whether source returns a time of observation, fetch or delivery. Reject stale values for decisions requiring fresh offers.
- Mark blocked, redirected and unparsed observations as collection failures. Check the impact on the price rule when the only cheap offer is unavailable.
- Compare cost per accepted observation including retries and cleanup. Price and stock captured together can avoid merging two feeds with inconsistent times.

FAQ
Is a price shown on a product page always actionable?
Check the purchasable variant, seller, destination and fulfillment mode. A listed price can remain visible when the item is unavailable.
Should missing stock count as out of stock?
No. Preserve an unknown state and exclude it from decisions that require confirmed availability.
Can I compare stock across stores?
Only when the observations use comparable context and freshness. Pickup at one store and shipment to another location are different offers.
